How you can help

About Us

Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley (BGCEV) has been serving our community since 1999. Located at the Westmoreland Community Center, BGCEV’s mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley welcomes any young person between the ages of 6 and 18 to join our Club. Our programs serve an average of 150 youth each day, helping build character, leadership, and health and life skills; providing education and career development assistance; encouraging creativity and cultural awareness; and challenging our members to be active and use their leisure time in a productive way. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley is open to all youth between the ages 6-18, grades 1 through 12.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley is proud to announce its new tag line starting in 2013 – "BE GREAT!". This announcement marks the beginning of a new time in Club history and we want your kids to be a part of it!

We want to put the focus on kids during these difficult times, and to do that we will be improving our programs and services. Club membership will cost only $36 per child, per year, this will provide your child with the following:

•  Dedicated Space for Homework Help

•  Nutritious USDA Meals

•  Access to the Latest Technology

•  Leadership, Education, Health, Art and Recreation Programs

•  Career Development Education

•  Mentoring Opportunities

Our goal is that all young people growing up in our community have a chance to “BE GREAT!”
