Volunteer Information

Volunteers are vital part of Club programs. Members truly benefit from the one-on-one contact with volunteers as it makes them feel special. There’s something special about a “big kid” or grown-up coming to hang out with members at the Club.

You can download and print the volunteer application below:
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

Application Process
Potential volunteers complete a volunteer application in person at the Club.
On the application the Club asks for at least two references from an employer, teacher, friend or other person who can speak of your suitability to work with youth.
The Club will preform a criminal background check as part of the application process.
After clearing your background check you will be eligible to come contribute to the well-being of our members.
Spending time with our members is fun!

2010 Afterschool Round-Up - Thank You!
The first Round-Up event of 2010 was a huge success! During the JCPenney Afterschool Round-Up program, customers have the opportunity to “round-up” their JCPenney purchases to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to JCPenney Afterschool. JCPenney Afterschool, in turn, will donate the store’s Round-Up collections to a local afterschool program in each store’s community.
The first Round-Up was held March 24-April 26 and raised more than $1.3 million.
Last year, JCPenney customers helped raise more than $4.6 million through Round-Up! Stop by your local JCPenney store to help.
The next Round-Up will be held August 4-17 at the JCPenney's at Valley River Center.
